no way

impossible. I really can't imagine how that could be true. When there is 0% chance that something has occured or will happen. Also when one is so appalled by one's statement that they have no response but the phrase itself. Often said by high intellects and geniuses. Emphatically not.

forget about it

"Forget about it" is like, if you agree with someone, you know, like "Raquel Welch is one great piece of ass, forget about it."  But then, if you disagree, like "A Lincoln is better than a Cadillac ? Forget about it!" you know?  But then, it's also like if something's the greatest thing in the world, like minga those peppers, "forget about it."  But it's also like saying "Go to hell!" too. Like, you know, like "Hey Paulie, you got a one inch pecker!" and Paulie says "Forget about it!"  And then, sometimes it just means forget about it. New York term for:"No comment" or "I would rather not say".  Usually sounds like "Forgedaboudit" and spoken slightly loud to put an end to the subject.

[reprint] Court serves justice on Parking Authority

This article is about authorities shouldn't issue tickets randomly. Very idiomatic. http://mobile.philly.com/news/?wss=%2Fphilly%2Fnews%2Fpolitics%2Fcity%2F&id=162988056&viewAll=y#more FOR MORE than a year, I've been chronicling the injustices of the Philadelphia Parking Authority and its sister agency, the Bureau of Administrative Adjudication. When my columns hit print, though, their effect on the PPA and the BAA has been akin to that of a mosquito biting into a rhino's neck: Momentarily bothersome, but inconsequential. Too many phony-baloney tickets are still being written by enforcement agents. And too many of them are then upheld on appeal by BAA hearing examiners who dismiss reasonable evidence showing that those tickets were written in error. God, it's depressing! That's why my jaw hit the desk when I heard that, last week, Common Pleas Judge Leon Tucker flipped PPA/BAA "justice" on its head. He issued an order that calls fo...

willey nilley

e.g.  I know there was concern about .... naming convention randomly and rapidly changing. I have a lot of code that depends on this naming convention, so it will not change willey nilley. Without regard for consequences or the will of those affected. e.g.  So people chasing money churn out novels  willy-nilly . Without consideration, an inconsiderate action. e.g.  "You can't just invade a country willy nilly"
